liveCache on Cluster Active/Active

Hi SAP gurus...

is it possible to install liveCache on an Active/Active Cluster (MSCS)?

is there any SAP note or Microsoft document available with instructions?

Hi António,

it depends on how you define the ACTIVE/ACTIVE cluster.

If you want to have the SCM system on one node and the liveCache on the other - this should work, yes.

If you mean something like Oracle RAC where the liveCache is running on both nodes in parallel - no, there's no way to do that.

For installation instructions, simply check the notes that you get by searching for "livecache + mscs":
