Incompletion Log - ROUTE ???

Hi

can someone tell me whether it is possible to set an incompletion flag rule to flag if a route is misssing in the sales order ?

If so, please could someone advise on the steps to undertake to set this up

Hi,

Go to IMG- S&D-Basic Functions-Log of Incomplete Items-Define Incompleteness Procedure

1)Click on B Sales - Item,then click on procedures.

2)Then select 20 Standard Item & click on fields.

3)Then go to change mode & click on new entries.

4)Give the table VBAP , Field name ROUTE , screen PDE2.Then give the status you want like either warning or error.

5)Assign procedures to which you want to:

a)Assign procedures to the sales document types.

b)Assign procedures to the item categories

c)Assign procedures to the schedule line categories

d)Assign procedures to the partner functions

e)Assign procedures to sales activities

Prior to this you need to define the status group.

Yes, You can have Route in Incompletion Log.

Configuration -->First know which is the Item Category determining when you create an Order.

(Ex. TAN) then in T.code VOV7 see which incompletion procedure is been assigned to the Item Category (Ex. 20).

Then SPRO --> Sales and Distribution -->Basic functions -->Log of incomplete Items -->

Define Incompleteness Procedures.

Here select B Sales - Item and click on Procedures... Then select the procedure assigned to Item Category (ex. 20) and Click on Fields, here you can see all the fields included in the Incompete procedure, There are the fields which will be checked before saving order.

So here you choose New entries.

And add following

Table Fld Name Scr. Status

VBAP - ROUTE - PDE2 - 06

then SAVE

now you can get incompletion flag when you try to save the order.
