Quotation not submitted, but documents submitted in cfolder

Hi All,

We have a senario, in which the purchaser creates a Bid Invitation, uploading documents to the cfolders.

The Bidder ( say A ) also uploads the document, by creating his private area but fails to submit the Bid as the Bid Submission deadline is in the past.

When the Purchaser process the Bid Invitation, he does not recieve any quotation from bidder A, but in the cfolder purchaser is able to see a private area of Bidder A with his technical documents uploaded.

Kindly suggest if there is any solution for this issue.....

Hi ,

when the deadline was in past , the system desn't allow to create quotation .

So i assume , when u created the quotation , the deadline was not reached, and may be u saved the quotation and later on tried to submit the same? and by that time , the time had elapsed.

In this case you cant control it , because the private area is created the moment the quotation is created. And when the collaboration is accessed via bid invitation , the entire structure is visible for the purchaser.

once can only try or train to avoid the scenario.

Some technical approach may be :

1) SRM 6.0 -> delete the area if the deadline is in past , use FM CFX_API_AREA_DELETE and pass the area guid

2) SRM 5.0 ->DOC CHECK BADI , use same FM to delete the private area if the deadline is in past.
