Redlining LAYER file .cgm Path Setting

Hi

I saw a thread regarding my query..but didnt understand it full .. Can someone explain how to make a different path for .cgm files in dc20 as mentioned in the thread??

Hi,

As per my understanding, wa hv to define one data carrier in dc 20 with the required path and this data carrier we have to assign it to cgm application is dc30.

Please revert back if u need further any help/information.

I tried the same, but still .cgm files are created along with originals..

I do not understand why it has to be created along with original file in individual PC, becasue a copy is created in the database i believe..

I tried from another PC and I could see the layers in the original, so is there any necessary at all for a copy to be created in the individual PC's??

Is there any option is that the same wont be created??

Thanks for the inforamtion.. Thorugh that note i got another note which seems to be more relevant..

Note : 910973 .. Still wotking on that..
