Hi,

SAP Note 17163 will help you to interpret BRbackup error message and solve the problem.

[https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=17163]

Hope this helps.

Hi Selvan,

After selecting the Redolog backup in DB13, u will be prompted for "options for Redolog backup". Select the function as either '-s' or '-sd'. The remaining will not support for disk backup.

-s Create the first copy of offline redo log files

-sd Create the first copy and delete

Hope this helps..

Hii

try running the backup of online redo log files only and then see what the error message that u get

Also check the permissions of the saparch directory and the online redo log files directory

might be it is not able to read either of these two directories

Hi,

You need to set the parameter in init<SID>.sap file. (location: oracle\ora92\database).

Change all these Parameter in init<SID>.sap

backup_type = online

backup_dev_type = disk

backup_root_dir = Create Backup Folder and provide their path like E:\Backup

stage_root_dir = Copy Same Path which you have given to back_root_dir

archive_copy_dir = Create Redologs Folder & Provide their path like E:\Backup\Redologs

archive_stage_dir = Copy Same Path which you have given to archive_copy_dir

Then run DB13, schedule Online Backup with Redo logs.......

Thanks
