Hi Guys,

Can any explain about the Meter reading reason 10 Control Reading and it process.

Where we will use the Meter reading reason 10 (Control reading).

Please let me know.

Hello,

Control meter reading reason 10 is used, when you issue a 'controlled reading', e.g. in transaction EL27

The original reading (e.g. provided by the customer) is implausible, so a real reader (person) has to be sent out to verify that result.

There are several actions after a reading reason 10 the most common: the original reading is interpolated between the last meter reading and the new check reading then meter reading can be billed as it will be plausible.

The control reading can be used in the bill complaint process. Customer raise a high bill complain, agent schedules a control reading, meter reading takes the reading and inform agent. Agent verifies the control meter reading with the billed meter reading. If the difference is too high he/she reverse the bill, interpolates the result and rebill the customer.

Hi All,

In continuation to the above , I have few more questions.

1.When the last reading will be interpolated,will it be tracked using the object change functionality in Meter read order.

2.Is there any SPRO settings to control the object change functionality for meter read orders.

3.Is the object change functionality depends on other objects like Portion,MRU,Installation,Device etc.
