Role Expert - Mass modify

Hello!

I'm working with Role Expert 5.2 and we upload like 200 roles... now we want to edit them to add company and functional area, there any template that we could use or only one-by-one edition is available??

Hi

Alpesh is correct , there is not column for company or functional area in Role import template .

You will have to do it manually , or you can enter values in following tables:

VT_RE_RLFUNAREA

You can run script to add one functional area for multiple roles .

Magaly is talking about ERM not CUP. In ERM rolre template, you don't have placeholder for functional area. I don't think there is a direct way to achieve this but you can go through DB and do it.

Dear Magaly,

You may add Functional Area which you want to add into roles in ERM manually, Then put these data again in template sheet of roles and reupload them with rewtire option set to yes.

It will overwrite all existing same roles with new details.
