Test Drive Snote usage

Former Member

Hello Everyone.

Has anybody tried using the snote transaction in the TEST drive instance?

With no saprouter or True IP for Internet facing one at least.

Did try to use P * * * in the saprouttab and 3299 in /etc/services.

Just looking to use the RTCCTOOL program?

Thanks Bryan

That was I was thinking that we could do the download and use snote. do you know what directory it needs to be located in as I use a download directory and it did not allow me to tell it were the note was located.

Bryan,

not sure what directory you mean.

- SAP Download Manager can be configured to use a certain directory

- when i go to the 'upload menu', i get a dialogue box and can navigate to any directory. Initially it starts in my SAPWorkDir (C:\Documents and Settings\MyWindowsUsername\SapWorkDir).

Hope it helps,

regards,

That was what I expected I had downloaded the notes on the server and because it is a 64 Bit Linux system no GUI so I need to download notes on to the front end !

Thanks for the information.

You need a registered saprouter to access sapservx. Most testdrives will not have access to one. For SNOTE, you can download notes if you have an S-user and upload them in your testdrive. This should work, though i havn't tested it.
