hi,

SAPGUI for Mac and Linux are the same one (SAPGUI for Java). You can refer step by step of configuration here (http://sapbasis.wordpress.com/2007/08/22/installation-and-configuration-of-sapgui-for-java-on-linux/).

Hello Surpreet,

as pointed out by Sergo already, you can download the documentation from

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/sap-gui#section15 (Literature)

->SAP GUI for Java

->SAP GUI for Java Download and Installation Information

Alternatively you can find the manual along with the installers at

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/sap-gui#section26 (Downloads)

from there in the table SAP GUI for Java 7.10 patches and follow the thinks from there.

Best regards

Hello Friends,

Thanks for your help and replies.

However none of these were so helpful that I could configure and connect to R/3 systems.

I did some search on Google and found solution.

on your laptop, look at the directory where the java gui was installed. The DOC folder should be there, and it should contain all the help files you need.

I am assuming that this is a JAVA gui. Look in the folder where the gui was installed for the folder DOC. Within there will be html files for the GUI. Specifically, look for index.html. This will have a directory to the otehr files that you may need to help you configure the GUI.
