Workcenter Formula _ Resource

when we CIF the Workcenter to APO as a Bucket resource(SNP Specific), Does the scheduling and Capacity formula moves to Resource. If it moves where can we see them?.

Second question: Where can I find the details of R/3 workcenter and corresponding Resource fields of APO.

Thanks

Samson

Hi samson,

For your second query, most of the details from R/3 (CR03 or CRC3) transactions will be seen in /n/sapapo/res01 transaction of APO. (copied from R/3 to APO)

In Res01 t-code, one to one mapping cannot be seen for all fields but few are copied as structures in PPM.

Hope it is clear now. Please confirm.

Hi samson,

The scheduling and capacity formulas from work centre, processing times from Bom data from R/3 will be used by APO to construct the PPM. You can see the bucket capacity using t-code /n/sapapo/res01 whereas the consumption values in PPM using t-code /n/sapapo/scc03.

Regarding your second question, you can use t-code /n/sapapo/res01 to compare the fields of work centre from R/3 and APO.

Please confirm whether your query is resolved.

When you CIF the workcenter to APO, the formula for capacity consumption actually gets reflected in the PDS and not directly in APO Resource ( not sure where in PPM). Again, you will not see the exact values in PDS but only the result of the calculation. The formula constant values, along with the data from Master Recipes, BOM Header Qty are used to calculate the Resource Consumption field in PDS and it is this field that reflects the calculated data from R/3. This calculation is a part of the standard CIF logic and you may refer program SAPLCUSLNTRTO for this.

Regarding your second question, goto workcenter -> tab 'Capacities' -> Capacity Header (at the bottom) -> tab 'APO Resource'. This will give you all the fields that will be CIF'ed to APO Rseource.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Srinidhi
