Selection locked by user

Hello

I have a problem in APO

in planning book i want to open same planning and i get the message "Selection locked by user"

in goto -->lock entries i can see the user.

and sm12 is empty .

and the user is not logon to the system .

how can i fix the problem ?

You mean user does not show up in SM04?

Two things you can do

1. Check if there is a background job running for the user id.

2. Check in SM50 (SM51 in case of multiple Apps Servers) Process Overview to find the work process

In either case you have two alternatives - wait for the work process causing lock to finish or terminate the process (may need BASIS help).
