Cannot change settings in SDCCN

I have activated SDCCN on my Netweaver system, but when I go to the Task-Specific settings screen it tells me that the tree cannot be built. I do not receive a dump and there are no errors in SM21. Has anyone seen this kind of behavior before?

Manoj,

I have tried that several times before even posting my problem. It tells me that it is already activated.

Hello Jon, Try this ...

first de activate the task processor job. goto>>settings>>taskprocessor>>deactivate.

then try reactivating utilities>>activate

and then task>>create>>maintainance package

after this check in todo and task log tab

Hope it solves you query.

Amber,

That solved my problem. Thanks for your help. Such a simple answer.

Manoj,

There are no entries in the To Do task, but in the Task Log it is mostly messages about the Task Processor starting and finishing and a few messages about a Manual creation of task failed. When I attempt to create a task it tells me that No Action Is Possbile.

Hi,

Could you please do SDCCN->Utilities->Activate one more time? What message are you getting?

Even I saw 1 task failed on my system first time.

Thanks,

Manoj,

I have already activated it, but that does not fix the problem. Thanks.

Hi,

Did you try SDCCN->Utilities->Activate first? If yes, has it finished successfully?

Hope this helps.
