SAP GUI 710 rev 7 Installation

I have just installed SAP GUI 710 rev 7 on my computer. But I keep on getting the message below:

"The procedure entry point RfcCreateItabObj could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBRFC32.dll"

I am at a loss as to what is the cause of this after installing and uninstalling several time. I will appreciate if I can get someone to help as quickly as possible please.

sounds like SAP GUI for Java running on Windows.

Are you able to connect to a SAP system?

What sequence of steps is required to get this message and where is it shown?

I am asking because LIBRFC32.dll is not used by SAP GUI for Java itself, but by satellite apps like saphttp, sapftp and saplpd.

In case you can't get it to work, I kindly ask to create a [support message|http://service.sap.com/message] on component BC-FES-JAV.

P.S. In case you do not get a connection to SAP system at all, please check if Visual C++ Libraries VS 2005 SP1(x86) (VCredist_x86.msi) has been successfully installed

hi,

You're using SAPGUI for Java or SAPGUI for Windows ? From your errorr message seems that you are using SAPGUI for Windows. Try to reinstall it and make sure that you are using the latest SAPGUI for Windows patch (right now is patch 11)
