This means that the BI message server host in the Portal lanscape cannot be reached... check that the host in maintained in the hosts file and that you can ping your BI server from the portal server

The BW and portals are in the same host. The ping will be ok.

Are you using the full qualified domain name in mshost?

Hi Juan,

I´ve the parameter rdisp/mshost = , in both files, default and profile instance. Only host not FQDN.

I´ll tried it.

Hi,

Did you check the message server status at the time of this error?

Hope this helps.

Hi,

For the setup SSO, it´s necesarry to configure SAPSECULIB?????

Former Member

Yes... thats the first prerequisite.

Refer :

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b0a5216a-349c-2a10-9baf-9d479734...

Step 4: Maintain Single Sign-On in the BI System

In this activity you maintain Single-Sign-On settings in the BI system.

Execute the following steps to maintain the necessary settings for Single Sign-On in the BI system:

1.

To use Single Sign-On (SSO), install SAPSECULIB on every application server for the BI system. It is not necessary to install SSO software on the client PC.

This will help...

Regards,

Jazz
