I was facing an interview. Interviewer asked me "What does sender agreement do?"
Could anyone help me with this.

hi,
The sender agreement usually specifies the communication channel and the outbound interface the sender is using.
This will tell the integration server what it has to expect from the sender.

hi naveen,
In a sender agreement, you define how the message of a sender is to be transformed so that it can be processed by the Integration Engine .
When you create a sender agreement, you must specify at least the sender interface and the party or service for the sender and receiver. You can use a wildcard character (*) for the receiver party, receiver service, and the sender interface ,
Also, IDOC and HTTP do not have a sender adapter as they reside on the ABAP stack and therefore, no sender agreement.

Sender agreement binds the sender interface with the communication channel.
