inspection lot number

Dear QM gurus,

sytem generates unique inspection lot number, this will long last upto what, i mean to ask whether for next year, whether number will come from begning or it will continue

Hello Kailash,

Don't worry brother. there is very huge number range available there for each inspection type. Check it in trx QA09 for each inspection type. The STD settings are such as mentioned below.

01 010000000000 to 019999999999

02 020000000000 to 029999999999

03 030000000000 to 039999999999

04 040000000000 to 049999999999

05 050000000000 to 059999999999

06 060000000000 to 069999999999

07 070000000000 to 079999999999

08 080000000000 to 089999999999

09 090000000000 to 099999999999

10 100000000000 to 109999999999

As you can see it has 12 digits and their generation flow has no botheration to year change.
