Hi,

Iam tring to install SAP NW 7.0 SR3 on MSCS cluster.

I have two shared disks. one for quorum and another for SAP installation.

SAP and Database files are in same shared disk.

i got error at Adding resource <SID>.WORLD to group ORACLE<SID> like ERROR : FS-10036: The resource uses disk Disk S:, which is also used by cluster resource SAP SG3 SAPMNT in another group.

is it require one more shared disk for DataBase? Means Does we need three shared disks? one for quorum , second for SAP files and third for DB files.

Could you please help me.

Regards,

Srinivasareddy.

Hi,

Read the installation guide : it is clearly stated inside which shared drives are needed.

>Does we need three shared disks? one for quorum , second for SAP files and third for DB files.

Of course, that is the absolute minimum.

For example, on my R/3 4.7 MSCS cluster, I have

1 shared drive in the cluster group for the quorum

8 shared drives in the Oracle database group

2 shared drives in the SAP instance group
