Databse is growing unexpectly

Hello Experts,

In one of our test system (CRM 2007) database is growing rapidly (1GB/5min).

What type of activites are going on SAP

Database can't grow as such,there must be some activities going on in background which is increasing the database size

Also check which database files are increasing

Thanks for the quick reply...

I have checked in sm37 there are no active background jobs..

We are working on E-commerce & Middleware.

All the datafiles are growing (sapdata1 to sapdata4), Log file is not growing much..

Thats ok Ajay but comeone has to work on the database so that its size is increasing

check with ur functional consultants if they are doing any type of data loads in the system

The first thing would be to identify which tables are growing the most (use transaction ST04) and compare those against those listed in SAP Note 706478. You might also want to double check to see if your SAP standard jobs (SM36) are running correctly.
