Hi all, I'm having problems with my first WDA.
Every pushbutton I add to my view, appears inactive, even though I check the 'enabled' property (in fact, that´s the way it is created by default). So, they appear in my browser, but not active.
Could you help me please?
Thanks in advance,
Federico Alvarez
hi,
the button gets activated if you assign an action to that button.

Yes, it was a no-action-associated issue.
Thanks everybody!

Select you inactive button in the VIEW , change to abap editor to EDIT mode. Check the Button properties on the Right Hand side properties window. You will find onAction make an Entry let call PUSH1 , hit enter & save.
Activate your webdynpro application. You should start seeing your button as Active.

Hi Federico,
I guess that they have disabled embedding external links within the forum. Try go to sapdevelopment.co.uk and then navigate to the "Netweaver Dev" section using the tree on left hand side. Now go to the subnode "Web Dynpro" you would then have a link on your right hand side which says: "ABAP Web dynpro button click / Action" . It should help you design your button in WDA.

Hi Federico,
Am sorry to ask this way but have you actually specified any value for the "onAction" property of the button? You use this to designate any method to be triggered by clicking the button. Until and unless you specify any value in there all buttons created are in disabled mode.
