Hi,

I have problems with SDM server in one of my systems. The process of it doesnu00B4t appear in SAPMMC, I donu00B4t know why.

The other problem is the startserver fails when start mode is integrated, it only works in standalone mode.

The log shows a timeout,

Any idea?? Can I extend the timeout threshold maybe?

Thanks.

For these reason I want to extend the timeout value, or any other idea.

Possible - Could be because of timeout error....

You might have checked Note [739190|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=756084] - Timeout when starting or stopping the J2EE engine - to edit the parameter.

Bear in mind that the command expects milliseconds.

OR

May be the Message Server host and port set to SDM are not correct.

For changing their values use the SDM command "registerjstartup":sdm registerjstartup sdmhome=<...> jstartupdir=<...> mshost=<...> msport=<...>

More information about SDM commands you can find in the document

/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/SDM/program/doc/SDMCommandLineDoc630_en_final.pdf.

For more information about "registerjstartup" command see chapter 9 of this document.

Hi,

Are you in the middle of applying some patches through SDM?

Also post your SDM log file.

Regards,

Vamshi.
