Communication Channel types for e Filing GB

Hi radhika,

For e-Filing Outgoing process the configuration Scenario is PAYE_EOY_GB.

For e-Filing Incoming Process scenario is Employee_tax_code_update,

In these cases, GovernmentGateway is as sender for -Filing Incoming Process and is as receiver for e-Filing Outgoing process.

But at sender side what is the type of the communication channel weather File or SOAP or ?

At the receiver side what is the type of communication channel used in XI content template?

What type of system GovernmentGateway is?

I have gone through the same and max things for e Filing GB from Library.

But any where i did not get type of channels used.

My Basis team has installed PI 7.0 with default client 001.

can we use this as it is or any need to create new client?

is it nessecery to create product and SWCV in SLD in PI 7.0?

Client - The same can be used, unless you have any specific business requirement

Prd/ SWCV - Yes, creating this would distinguish this scenario from the other scenarios. various flows related to this scenario are developed inside this swcv.

The docs of the prev links, explain different scenarios, but going through all of them will give a complete picture to an extent.

Let us take incoming scenario, actually we have to receive some forms to the SAP system from the govrnmentGateway, Right?

If so here we have to configure HTTP Sender adapter and SAP RFC or/ and IDOC adapter. right?
