Hi.
Im using a webdynpro application where I log the info using
the Logger. All the log files are stored in the location
c:\usr\sap\F31\JC30\j2ee\cluster\server0\log (as configured)
Is there any possibility to prevent the error messages logged
in the defaultStackTrace.trc file?
Could you please tell me how to prevent these error messages
from being output through the NWA or Visual Administrator?
Thanks and Regards
Bala
Hai,
You cannot prevent the log messages to stop writing to the defaulttrace files.
\usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\j2ee\cluster\server<n>\log\defaultTrace.<n>.trc
This file contains all the trace information for the whole server and includes trace information for user management engine (UME) libraries and the UME provider (com.sap.security.core.ume.service). The information in this file is on a fine-granular level and includes exceptions, warnings, and debugging information. It is mainly required by the SAP support team.
You can define the trace levels, to control the amount of trace written in the files, also you can stop the warning of the security logs being written in your default trace files.
