AC ERM 5.3 - Mass Role Upload

Hi All,

we want to do the mass role upload from the SAP back-end system.

we saw that we need to add the Enterprise Role Management Information File which consists of the Business Process, Sub-Process, Project/Release.

We didn't see how can we mass upload the functional area attribute for the existing rules

Is it supposed to be already in the bulk download file ?

Yudit,

You will have to enter the ID for BP, SBP and Project/Release. If you go to the screen for those, the first column is ID. I found some of them are case-sensitive so it would be better to copy-paste.

Ideally, you'll use the same IDs and descriptions as in CUP.

Frank, As in CUP ? i believe those attributes (process, sub-process etc.. are more relevant to ones in the RAR component , no ?

Yudit,

You will have to maintain functional area manually. I did not see it in the role information file and the downloaded role file. I don't think the role file you download from SAP would contain functional area.

by the way, in the Enterprise Role Management Information (the Business Process, Sub-Process, Project/Release) we supposed to use the codes, not the name, right ?
