Item Category Usage

Hi,

Can anyone help me with the Item Category Usage PSA2. What is the functionality of this exactly cause I know that we determine Item category based on Sales Doc Type + Item Cat. Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Cat.

Where can I find the usage and check the same. I think this PSA2 is to deal with Product Selection. Please help me with this.

Hi,

You can define in CMIR VD52, you will find the usage indicator.You can define in IMG-Sales and distribution-Sales document-sales item categories -usage indicators.

Hi Raj,

Thanks for the information can you please also suggest from where usage PSEL gets determined.

As you said PSA2 gets determined from CMIR which I have checked and this does not exsist. Please let me know about PSEL.
