UME Administrator

Hi Everyone,

By mistake i <b>unassigned</b> the administrator role from my user. None, other than me had the administrator role on the system. Due to this, I am not able to maintain the users any more.

Can any one tell me how to solve this problem?

If you have damaged the default admin, you can use SAP*, to solve the problem.

It is a good idea to create an emergency user to get yourself out of such problems.

Hi Bhaskar,

Well, you must have used the user id "Administrator" or "J2EE_ADMIN" to assign the role to your user. You

might as well use the same administrative user to

re-assign the role to your user-id.

Is that possible....do correct me if I am wrong.

Hi srikishan,

No user is having the "UME.Manage_All" role, except me. So, i have to activate the SAP* user and add role to my user.

Refer to OSS note: 886879 in case is you are not able to log on to UME with SAP*
