Supported printers for device type JPSAPWIN

Hello all,

I'd like to know the supported printers for the device type "JPSAPWIN".

We'll use the the device type "JPSAPWIN" for frontend printing and would like to know

whether the exisiting pirnters can be used or not.

I suppose the device type "JPSAPWIN" uses windows printer drivers of client PCs to print out,

so there is no restriction if the printer can be used from client PCs.

Is this right or not ? and if this is not right, could you tell me some information about supported printers ?

Hi,

as you mentioned the print drivers define the formatting of your printing text. generally SAPWIN device type is used as windows default printer. This should work with all the printers.For some special cases like barcode printers( zebra) we need to have their own drivers so that we dont loose data while printing barcodes.

also would like to know why would you like to go with the JSAPWIN when u can load the drivers of the existing printers into sap system and use them.
