Hi,

I am getting the following information while activating PPM "Location does not exist for external location 1000, type 1001 and BSG BS".

Also I am getting another message while doing another PPM processing like " codepage 800 is not released".

Hi MP,

From 1st the message "Location does not exist for external location 1000, type 1001 and BSG BS". what i can understand is location and PPMs you are trying to transfer are using 2 different business system groups.

If you check location master in APO location 1000, and type 1001 you can find the Business System Group from which the master data is CIFed. If this is not the same you are trying to use you might have reslove this first.

You can check the configuration, which system is assigned to the business system group.

The first message means that the Product/Location master data has not yet been sent from ECC. You must generate and activate the Plant (location) and Material (Product) Integration models first prior to sending a PPM.

For the second message, consult with your basis team.
