SRM 5.0. e-mail after Accepted or Rejected Bid

Hello everybody!!

When we are display bid Invitation

(Sourcing -> Process Bid Invitation) After it choose "Display bidder and bids" we can Accepted or rejected bid.

When we are do it, bidder should receive E-mail, but e-mail does not come.

Standart steps for e-mail sending are adjusted. (for example, the user receives mail at registration), but here, as i think, we must use Workflow.

Somebody can tell the detailed scheme that mail would go?

Hi

However check any mails are sent or not via SOST transaction.

Hope that follow on document successfully created for that bid after you accepted.

already check SOST. SRM don't generate e-mail..

But other e-mails, for example after registration new user are sends.

However bidder can see via web that his bid has accepted or not right?

What is the status of your bid now?

What workflow you activated in your system for BID?

For only this Bid was notified to vendor via mail? or are you using any smartform for this purpose.

In Spro->

define recipient notification

approve bid

rejection of application object

Approval of an application object

what is the existing settings for notification?

Hi,

Pl. check if the accepted bid is going into approval after acceptance. You need to activate atleast one of the workflows for BID(BUS2202) like 'No approval required'/ One step approval. After approval completion, an email is sent by workflow system to the Bidder.

You also need to check the smartform configuration settings for BID. Go into SPRO setting 'Set output actions and output format--> Define Actions.....Select Action profile as 'BBP_PD_QUOT' .Under action definition, check if you have maintained 'Selection Report; for Processing times setting. This should be immediate processing.
