Divisions in Dm

Hello,

I'm working with SAP- Deposits Management, I need to know if DM works with divisions or branches.

Hi Natalia,

In DM Deposit management, instead of divisions and branches, we are talking about organizational plan.

The organizational plan consists of the organizational units that exits in your company. ( headquarter, subsidiary A, subsidiary B, etc). After defining your organizational hierarchy, you have to maintain the characteristics of each unit (adress, contract mgnt bank, standard bank data, bank psoting area, calendar).

The organizational management is part of the Bank definition in SAP Deposits Management.

At this moment we are not working with branches, however the company does, so now the manager want to restirct the access, they want that each branch's responsible is allowed to display its branch's data.

Ok, so it's more a security issue and an access definition.
