Dear All,
Here is the issue.
I have a backend material with 4 sources of supply in R/3.
If I create a shopping cart in SRM for this material, I can see all these sources of supply and assign one of these.
But, if the requirement is generated via MRP and the PR is transferred to SRM for sourcing, the system does not propose any source of supply.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Vijay
backend contracts and inforecords are shown as source of supply only in classic scenarion , and not in the extended classic scenario

Hi,
May I know the official reason or logic behind this?
I just want to validate my theory. My guess is contracts and inforecords from backend system aren't seen as sources of supply in an extended classic scenario is because the SRM system is supposedly the LEADING system in this case. Given that the backend is just a "mirror" of the purchasing cycle that happens in SRM, it would make sense that the contract to be used in SRM, where sourcing happens, must reside in the local system.

Marvin
