stock transfer from return to QI

Dear QM Gurus,

After sales person do returns for customer, material goes to return stock in mmbe, now material person trying to take that material from return to QI , but it is giving error as below.

Change the inspection stock of material 400000013 in QM only

please guide.

active inspection type 05 and 08 and do transfer posting by movement 457 Returns to Qi

Try activating 05 or 08 inspection type

it is happening with "05".

One more query is that is it possible that whenever sales person do returns, stock directly get posted to quality with generating lot. OR the above is procedure that first it will come to return stock, from there you put it into quality, and at that time u will get lot and then routine procedure.

it possible to take directly into Quality by movement type 655 instead of 651

but in that case inspection lot is not generating. so as you said first it will come to return stock, from there you put it into quality, and at that time u will get lot and then routine procedure.

Activate the inspection type '06' in material master.
