Hi there,
i have a just a little question.
We have an XI and the XI takes XML Files from an folder
/XYZ/export1/
I want know that the engine grabbes the files from
/XYZ/export23/
I went to the Integration Builder and found the point: Sourcefolder
for this Scenario.
I changed it and activated the Scenario again.
When i put now a file in /XYZ/export23/ the Engine do not grab the file. The file lies there...
When i change the directory to the old one: /XYZ/export1/
Then the engine grabs my xml file in there... ?!
Did i have to change more then the Sourcefolder in the Integration Builder?

Bjoern
Hi
you dont have to do anything more in the settings
Check
- if your user has necessary authorisation to access the file from the new folder.
- if the attributes of that folder (and files inside) are set appropriately so it can be accessed/ read

Just to mention that PI uses the user <sid>adm in Unix or SAPService<SID> in windows to access the file.

Just go into RWB -> Adapter Engine -> Communication channel monitoring.
It will show you the error so you will be able to understand that why XI is not able to pick up the file.
Most probably your new folder will not have read/ write permission for the user that you are using.
Check the authorization groups and get the necessary authorization.
Thanks,

The reason could be
1. You dont have authorization to the folder.
2. Make sure the file naming convention is correct.
