I never worked on ALE integration,

Can anyone explain what is the advantages and dis advantages in ALE integration??

How to work on ALE integration any sample scenario please share the links.

Hi,

ALE mechanism is generally using to communicate with other R3 system. The main advantage & purpose of ALE is to integrate with another R3 system, we can't communicate with third party system by using ALE setup. In ALE configuration below mentioned steps are mandatory

1. Logical System (BD54)

2. Assign Ls to client (SCC4)

3. RFC Destination (SM59)

4. Port Creation (we21)

2. Parther Profile (we20)

3. IDOC Generation (depending on idoc choose tcode)

By using XI/PI we can communicate with any system (third party systems also). For more information find below link

Can you please let me know what do u mean by ALE Integration in specific.

Do u mean ALE Connectivity that has to be done while processing of some data through IDOC.
