Hi,
Could any one help me in locating the folder structure where the logs would be when SAP Web AS is started ?
Thanks !
Karthik
Hai,
It depends. If is ABAP and JAVA stack the logs and trace files will locate in the following location
C:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBM<instno>\work directory
If it is only JAVA stack, the logs and trace files will locate in
C:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<instno>\work directory
Thanks and Regards,

Hai,
For ABAP you can see the startup logs under /home/<sid>adm.
You will find the startsap.log there.
Check /usr/sap/SID/Instance dir/work for all the workprocess trace files.
If you get any problem in starting the Instance you have to look in the above paths to get the information on the error.
For JAVA you can see the logs under
/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/cluster/server0/log for defaultTrace.trc files which is same as dev_w* files in ABAP.

You can try ADM200 for further details.
