Error while seeing Reports

Hi SDNers,

While I click on Reports under Admin node I am getting this error.

"Scoket error on receive"

Any solution?

Hi,

Stop the server and also restart the Listner services with respect to MDM Server. Other try different options as Simona suggessted in above answers.

Hi Ravi,

Socket error mainly signifies that you are having a connection error.

But as you said you have tried all the above methods but still fail to see the logs try this workaround:

- Unmount your rep and mount it again after restarting your services

ie MDM server,Import server and Syndication server.

If it still fails to work then try this option:

- Archieve your repository and unarchive it with a differnt name.

- Check and verify the rep after unarchieving

- Then try to see the reports.

- You may have to change certain settings in your ini file for import and syndication as your Repository name has changed.

- But firstly verify whether you are able to see the reports table in console without error or not

Hi Ravi,

Check whether you can perform any other operation. Your MDM Server might get stopped. Refresh the console once or close-open MDM Console.

Hi Jitesh,

In MDM server I am having 2 Repositories. I am getting this error only for 1 Repository. Anotther Repository I can see the Import and Export Maps(Reports). Only I am not able to see Reports only for 1 Repository.

Hi Ravi,

Please check and repair the repository and then again try to access the same report.

You can also access that report from Reports Folder under Server Directory.

Hi Varun,

I tried Check and Repair the repository.

Again it is giving the same error. I want to see those import and Export logs in Console.

not in SAP MDM5.5/Srever/Reports.

I can see the reports for another Repository. I am getting this error only for 1 repository. For that repository I can import and Syndicate records sucessfully. But I cant see the import and Export log in Reports under Admin node in Console.

If possible try restart your MDM Server.
