Hi,

(This is for TAB/TAS item category)

If I am not wrong - only PR will be automatically created as because of the schedule line CS.

To create PO - we need to use ME59 transaction(Automatic PO creation).

Only schedule line determines - whether to create PR automatically or not...

but , as of I know - PO won't be created automatically like PR in third party process when we save the order..

Thanks,

Dear Friend,

You can use Schedule Line Category (VOV5) - CB - Individual Purchase Order.

Maintain NB in Order Type & Put Tick mark in P.req.del.Sched.

Hope this helps...

For third party ALES item category also the schedule line category determination in VOV5 is CS only

I think mainly you need to maintain the settings in VOV5 for the item category ALES and you MRP type in MMR you have to maintain CS as schedule line category

In VOV6 for CS details

The order type should be maintained as NB

Item category should be 5 that is third party

Account assignment category should be X

These are the main settings to generate PR up on saving the sales order

Mm people will convert the PR and PO

And a lot of threads are available how to convert automatically a PR to PO both in SD and MM forums

Normal third party item category is TAS and with ALES and a lot of controls differ mainly billing relevance

In TAS is is set to F and in ALES it is set to B
