The percentage of completion describes the ratio of activity performed up to a key date as a percentage of total work for the project.

PERCENTAGE OF COMPLETION:

The percentage of completion shows the ratio of the activity performed up to a certain day to the total activity planned for a network activity or WBS element.

EARN VALUE:

The term "earned value" describes the costs incurred to bring a project element to its current degree of completion. To calculate the earned value, the system multiplies the degree of completion by a planning factor, such as the original plan or the budget.

All are fully confirmed or partially confirmed?

Dear Farhan

Remove all weightage assigned to WBSe level.

If weightage is not assigned to activity level then assign them.

Use time pro method in plan and degree of processing in actual. both in activity and wbse level.

Then run cjen, cne1 and cne5 in sequence.

Hopefully you will get accurate figures.

Dear Farhan

Go to the assign measurement methods as a default value in SPRO. Dont go in the detail screen jst change the measurement method of WBS in Actual from the column directly. Enter 000006 directly. Then you will find the actual values of POC rolling upto the WBSe level.

In progress version keep weight as a standard for calculating POC.

Dear Saqib,

I have done the measurement method already and value is defined - 000006.

In progress version percentage of completion Tab- POC weighting is 7 Cost Plan ( Active Project, Annual values)

Use "6 Weight" in POC weighting. It will role up the POC actual as desired.
