EPC - Electronic Product Code
EPC is a serialized number that is capable of recognizing any product uniquely across the globe.

For eg. a wooden pallet, or a metal pallet
So EPC will uniquely identify each instance of a product. For eg. You can recognize each Pepsi bottle uniquely
SSCC - Serial Shipping Container Code
SSCC is similar to EPC. Difference is it is mostly used for identifying shipping units uniquely. For eg
pallets, cases, containers. These all are HUs (Handling Units)
EAN - EAN is the world organization handling Bar Code standards. For eg UPC-128 etc
UPC - Universal Prodcut Code is a Bar Code standard for encoding data into barcodes in a defined standard
SGTIN - Serial GTIN. This is an EPC
Now what is difference between SGTIN and EPC
EPC is a general or generic name for a number. (unique0
SGTIN lets us know that the number is a GTIN based serial number.
