Hi all,
What will happen after PGI in sales order processing? i mean which document will be updated?

Hi Shiva Shankar,
After PGI the system will update the following:
1. Updates teh quantites in the inventory management and delivery requirement in Material Planning.
2. Updates the values change in Balancsheet accounts for Inventory accounting (cost of Goods sold will increase)
3. Generates Billing due list.
4.General additional document for accouting ( Controlling )
5.Updates the status in all relevant sales documents.

Hi
After PGI the stock quantities will be updated. That is, the warehouse or plant stock is decreased by the quantity of goods that have left the warehouse.
The system also automatically updates the posting to the general ledger accounts.Based on the account determination for the inventory posting, the system decreases the value of the stock on hand and increases the cost of goods sold.
The system also upates the requirements in the stock requirements list, once goods issue has occurred.

- Open order quantity reduced in sale order
- Inventory stock reduced in FG storage location
- Update the respective inventory G/L Account
- Increase in goods sold account
- creates billing due list

Hi Siva,
After doing the PGI the following things are going to happen.
1)After creating the delivery the status will be shown as completed for the sales order in the document flow.
2)After creating the PGI the delivery status will be shown as Completed.
3)Company stock will be reduced.
4)Accounting document will be getting generated.
5)Generates the billing due list.

-->Once you created delivery for the all the sales order item and for all quantity system will show sales order status as completed.
-->Once you do the PGI for the delivery system will show the delivery status as completed.
-->Once you do the PGI material document will get generated for the stock redution and accounting dicument also generated reg.Cost of goods sold.

Hi,
After post goods issue the amount of stock reduces in the plant, value of stock reduces in the plant,when invoices are received the revenue accounts updated,also no requirement sits in the stock requirements list (md04).
