Bidding process maping in SRM

Hi,

Business Process:

Service (SAP XXX Consulting) is requested from 2 different vendors through bidding engine.

Bidders need to give bid for the service with different prices based on the attributes of the service such as SAP Certification, Years of Experience & Number implementation projects handled.

Please let me know how this business process can be mapped in mySAPSRM Classic Scenario.

Hi

You can use 'Request for external staff' functionality of SRM to map this scenario. From the shopping cart screen (bbpsc01) you can create this request. A bid invitation would get created out of the request. Process your bid invitation further to add the attributes you have mentioned. You can maintain different weigthings and valuations for these attributes. Publish the bid invitation to bidders and then proceed to bid evaluation and follow on document creation.

Thanks for your reply.

It is not possible for me to enable the bidders to give multible bid for the same Service.

Here the scenario is the bidder is the staffing agency, he has 5 candidates with different values for attributes such as SAP Certification, No of years of Experience and No of implimentation Experience.

How can we configure the SRM system to enable bidder to give multiple price based on the profile of candidates for the bid published by customer on Service (SAP XXX Consulting).

Looking for your tips on this business scenaio.

Unfortunately you will not be able to map this into SRM bidding directly. As the bidder can submit only one bid for an RFx.

Proabably you can ask the bidder to fill his appropiate price in the bid and provide you all other alternatives through some attachment.

Purchaser must have a full control rather than a bidder. we want this. what is your best price.thats all .

so purchaser can control via SRM Server ® Bid Invitation ® Dynamic Attributes depends on your business need.
