Dear all,

i face the following problem.

i created a project with some WBSE. I-0001 is one of the WBSE.

i released the project.

i deleted the WBSE I-0001 and I saved the project.

after a few days, my manager told me to add WBSE I-0001 to the project and i did so.

but the error message stated +WBS I-0001 Version Released already exists.

is it correct? how can i solve this problem??

thanks a lot

Judy

Hi,

i guess deletion flag is not set for the WBSE.

In PRPS table check LOEVM (deletion indicator) is ' X ' for the WBSE.

thank you very much for all your answers.

i find the table VSPRPS_CN and the field POSID

the deteled WBS (status released )is in this table.

therefore, i cannot add the WBS with the same name (status released).

i will award the points.

thanks

Judy

Hi,

Check if SAP Note 1289337 helps.

Dear Judy,

To delete the project version, you have to implement this note: 616732 - Renaming WBS elements in projects with versions

As you told that " created a project with some WBSE. I-0001 is one of the WBSE.

i released the project. i deleted the WBSE I-0001 and I saved the project."

You meaning to say is that you have tick deletation mark indicator for the WBSE. As of now WBSE is not marked for the deletation. the same you can find if you chekc the PRPS table.

Once you archieve than after you will be be able to create the WBSE with same nomenclature I-0001.

With out archieve3ing you can create the WBS but with diff. number.
