Backwarrd scheduling & Forward scheduling

Dear Friends,

I am practising in IDES and I want to check both backward and forward scheduling...how to proceed?.....it means thr sud b two schedule lines must occur how to bring that?.....Thanks in advance..

Hi

The system always determines one schedule line for the requested delivery date. If delivery is not confirmed for that date, the schedule line will have zero quantity. It also determines one or more schedule lines in addition to this, with delivery dates and quantities.

You can test by giving today's date as the requested delivery date. Even if all the lead times are zero, since today is holiday, system determines more than one schedule line.
