we are saleing goods in india and abroad so Do we have a separate sales organization for exports are not if why please give me complete solutation to me

Dear Shetty,

Whats your Management's requirement?

Understand, following enterprise structure and the explaination, with it:

Company: ABC Corp. Ltd.

Sales Organization: IT Business

Division 1: ERP Consulting

Division 2: CRM Consulting

Dist. Chnl 1: Retial Clients - Domestic

Dist. Chnl 2: Non - Retial Clients - Domestic

Dist. Chnl 3: Retial Clients - International

Dist. Chnl 4: Non - Retial Clients - International

Note: If, Management is not intersted to bifurcate Business, on the basis of Retail and Non-Retail Clients, You may go for only 2 Dist. Channels, instead of 4 Dist. Chnls. i.e.

Dist. Chnl 1: Domestic

Dist. Chnl 2: International

Important: In above example, my Sales Organization is allowed to do Business with Both the Clients: Domestic and International. But, if Management restricts Domestic Business to one Sales Org. and International Business to another, I will configure Two Sales Org.

I.e.

Company: ABC Corp. Ltd.

Sales Org 1: IT Business - Domestic

Dist Chnl: Domestic

Division 1: ERP

Division 2: CRM

Sales Org 2: IT Business - International

Dist Chnl: International

Division 1: ERP

Division 2: CRM

Hi

one sales organisation will be enough

My client also had the same scenario

I convinced them to have 1 sales organization and

2 distribution channels

10 domestic

20 exports

my clients wants 2 sales org 1 for domes and 1 for exports

then i explained them regarding the sales areas which will increase

Hi Shetty

It is not compulsory that you should have One sales orgn for domestic sales and another sales orgn for Export sales . You can maintain Domestic and Export sales in one sales orgn only. But if the requirement varies then you have to go with 2 sales orgn's.

Sales Organisation can be one but have different distribution channels one for domestic and one for exports. Also you should have two pricing procedures accordingly.
