can we Delete a sales orders

Dear Shetty,

Sales Order could be deleted from System, providing, there is no susequent document (Delivery, Invoice etc..), would have been generated.

To delete Sales Order:

VA02 --> key-in Sales Order No. and "Enter" --> Sales Document --> Delete

However, it is not advicable to delete a sales document from SAP, instead, put a "Reason for Rejection" (at Header level, to completely reject the Order, or at Item, for particular Item(s) in Sales Order).

Once you reject the order the orders will not have a requirement and will not be considered for MRP run.

Yes sales orders can be permenantly deleted from data base

If the subsequent processes has not happened like delivery or pgi or billing then it can be deleted

From the overview screen in the top menu bar (extreme left) sales documents if you click that the delete option will be there

If the order is billed then billing has to be cancelled.,Reverse PGI,delete delivery and reject the order and delete from the data base
