Hi Guys,
Our scenario is ECC - PI - webservices.
Is it possible to use SOAP adapter to send messages from ECC 5.0 or 6.0 to PI or do i need to use the proxy only. which is better ?
Thanks,
Raj
.
Definitely you can use SOAP adapter, it's like consuming any other web services in ABAP, not a problem. However using proxy is better, as proxy is an integral part of PI, performance wise it's better than SOAP. In addition, you can monitor the messages in your ECC local IE which sometime is very helpful in regard to error finding, auditing, etc. So would definitely go with proxy if there is a chance.

Best way is using Proxy... i don't think we can use SOAP adapter.
