Installation with other sap system

Hi people,

I want to know if there is any problem when installing an SAP system, a machine that already has an installed system. The likely impacts of drawbacks I should consider.

This is not as problem as long as the box has enough resources... What systems are you planning to install?... Drawbacks usually are related to the systems sharing the same DB... so basically if any maintainance is done at DB level that require a DB restart then both systems will have to go down...

Also let me mention that this is not a good scenario in a production system... but is perfectly fine in a DEV, QAS environment.

There are a productive ECC 6.0 and I want to install Netweaver 7.0

You can run multiple instance into single box, but i would not prefer it for Production system, another point is Netweaver 7.0 will consume a lot of memory if both instance is running so you will have to face performece problem also.
