Solved: JCo Connection Error

Hi Seniors,

I am working on JCo connector and am trying to connect to SAP. I get the following error while trying to connect.

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=20 > Connect to SAP gateway failed

hi,

check the services file in WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc/

it should have the entry sapgw01 <portnumber>/tcp

use th following link,

Do you have a host entry in your lmhosts file?
