Hi siva sankar,
Cross client means that the data are the same in each client, you new a transportation order to create a new data, per example table of document type. A Client indipendent means the data can be different in each box, a typical example are customers, material, you don't need a tranportation order to create a new data.
Thanks in advance,
Mariano Sorrentino.

Dear Siva
Client Independent
Client-independent tables contain data of general relevance, for example, R/3 system control data, language indicators, and transaction codes.
The changes made to client-independent Customizing settings are recorded together with the changes to Repository objects and do not require a client-specific entry in table T000.
Cross-Client Customizing
Customizing is either client-specific or cross-client, depending on which business data is configured. Cross-client Customizing is valid for all clients in an SAP System.
As cross-client transport objects, standard tasks (task type TS) and workflow templates (task type WS) are always connected to the transport system and are automatically included in a transport request, if the client settings (table T000 ) allow changes to cross-client objects.
Both client-specific and cross-client transaction variants exist. Screen variants are always cross-client; they may, however, be assigned to a client-specific transaction.
thanks
