I am trying to install SAP Netweaver ABAP Trial Version 7.0 on laptop.
OS - Vista Home
RAM - 1 GB
26.6 GB Free Space available.
I have already downloaded the files, of 1.27 and 1.26 GB , from ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sdn/devkits/netweaver/abap/ and extracted to SAPNW7.0ABAPTrialSP12.
Now there is setup.exe at location "/image" which is run.
Then, it starts setting up java thing, but ends up saying
The installer had to update some MicroSoft runtime libraries. For correct operation, a system reboot is required. Do you want to reboot now?
when you say no, it says
Click finsh to exit installation. After reboot , start installation again
When you say yes, it simply restarts and then nothing.
Where is the problem?
Please guide.
Regards,
Chitwanjit
Hi, on Vista you only can install SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version -->
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/downloads?rid=/library/uuid/80fd9a0a-e306-2a10-c896-b84c77c13ed2
