Hello!!

I am trying to run backups from DB13 and BACKINT is reporting the following error.

BR0002I BRARCHIVE 7.10 (17)

BR0280I BRARCHIVE time stamp: 2009-02-13 11.09.37

BR0005I BRARCHIVE terminated with errors

When I run BRtools and brbackup locally on the server I don't get the error and the backup ends up successfully. If I logon with the sapservice<SID> the backup ends up successfully.

I cant figure out which file backint is refering to when reporting Error: Cannot open file: 13 The data is invalid. ".

Is there anyone else who have had the same problem?

We are running SAP Netweaver PI 7.10 SP 07 on Oracle DB 10.2.0.2. Brtools 7.10 (17)

Best regards,

Olga Olander

Be aware of the fact, that on Windows two users exist. An administrative user <sid>adm which you are logged on and another user - SAPService<SID> - who is running that backup.

Has SAPService<SID> the permissions to write to directory F:\oracle\UPI\saparch?

And please: put code tags around logfiles when you post them here. Paste the text, mark it and press on the "<< >>" sign next to the "underline" button.

Markus,

Yes, the sapserviceSID has the authorisations to write to F:\oracle\UPI\saparch.

I have manually created a txt file in the directory while logged on as sapservicesid.

Also since the backup run succesfully when I start brtools logged on as sapservicesid.
